And I'm guessing you've been quoted 2-3k at a bmw dealership? Or even a tuner shop 2-3? The tcase alone is over 3k

@@jku392adventures U quessed wrong. I have F31 xdrive, done60 k miles without any symptoms whatsoever. I changed all trans fluids yesterday. Before that i checked trans case job prizes from few shops and i was told that it would take about 2000-3000 including job 🤷

@@enjoylife756 well I'm glad it's that much cheaper, will you do me a favor and just Google the g05 x5 transfer case replacement costs. That will give you a little more info. Also I have heard from probably 8 or so people that the dealership quoted them 7-8k

There is definitely a price difference between the models. My bmw is a 2019 and it's a different tcase for the years 2019-2023. So older cars they are definitely cheaper

@princedoodoo4067 I don't think the hardware kit is any different, but I don't think the rear cameras are compatible. I need to find out if the camera wiring is compatible. I'll get back to you

I'm not 100% sure what the issue is, I would reach out to the company providing the program and see if they have any insight. Did you install exactly how i did? I know there some portion that some computers will block and you need to allow it to be downloaded. Maybe that's your issue.

Yes, I installed it according to the instructions, the computer has enough power, nothing was blocked, the installation went well. The company has not yet responded to the email, I wrote to them 2 times. If I figure out the problem, I'll let you know.

Reinstalled the program, it works! During installation, I did not turn off the German language, did not make any changes. I did everything by default. Thanks for the tip, I've been looking for a long time where to download a relatively recent version of the program👍🏼

Thank you, I will say that since I didn't have the vehicle level, I made sure to add the same amount of fluid back into the tcase. And also from reading online, there are different cambers in the tcase that will open up when you use ista when doing this job. So that it part of the calibration. Also yeah I probably should have kept the jack under the transmission at least to keep some pressure off the mounts and drivelines

@@angry_bullet_pro_chip3646 you can change the engine RPMs in the tables to match what you have or what you require. You go to change the x or y value for the tables

@@LeoC1228 I have it mounted on the outside, sometimes in the rain it can have drops of water on the camera, but in the snow it works great, especially if your back windshield is caked In snow, the camera is usually clear, or easy to clear by wiping off. If the rain ever makes it too hard to see I would just turn off the dash cam screen and use it as a normal rear view mirror but it will still record everything

Yeah I think if it was a single turbo making that much boost, there would be issues.

@@Marky_Markster yeah technically you shouldn't need to. The actual sealing surface is on the 65 degree fitting, not the threads, but I use tape on the an to npt adapter, but the aluminum washer worked the best to seal it

How do the fittings stay in the side of the transmission? The factory ones get bolted to the side to hold the line in the transmission

@jku392adventures if you are using a hemi 8spd the WK2 & cars use 8orb. I'm not sure on the rams. I wouldn't use a ram. Software on shift points are different, not manually shifting, you need to bypass the water/water cooler & more expensive. Wk2 trans are cleaner & cheaper. I put a 8hp95 in my 2008 ram 1500.

Would you mind sharing a link to the fitting you use? The ram 8hp70s are good transmissions... They get flashed with a challenger tune, so I have sport mode, and tap shift. They also need tapped because I use the hard transmission cooler lines from the 392 Wrangler. You can buy a fitting that will bolt to the transmission that will adapt the ports to an 8an fitting (I believe that's the size. Also using the ram transmission, they are cheap, easy to find, and hold up to the power, don't need a 90 unless it's supercharged. Also the ram transmission will automatically connect to the transfer case of most wranglers. I think you have a lot of good information, but it might not be completely relevant to the Wrangler swaps
